The new golden wonder has always been a relatively popular fish. Killies, having the reputation of being difficult to maintain and not recommended for beginners, the new golden wonder begs to differ. It is a very hardy species and is easy to keep in a planted home aquarium set-up, especially when contrasted against a black backdrop and a dark substrate, showcasing its beauty. It is peaceful for its size and easy to breed, too.

Discus.ae prefers younger stock for their better ability to adapt to new water parameters and higher tolerance against transport.
