Istanbul Mehmet Empire cymbals are a series of custom range cymbals from Istanbul Mehmet which deliver a warm yet dry sound that allows for a woody stick definition with every strike. Each cymbal from the Empire Series is lathed on the outer ring, while the inner ring and bell are raw, these cymbals include stripes of lathing at regular intervals on certain cymbals; whilst the underneath of each cymbal is totally unlathed.
All of the cymbals from Istanbul Mehmet are created using traditional cymbal making techniques and are handcrafted to perfection and this is another stunning example of the high quality that oozes from Istanbul Mehmet cymbals.
